After a spit of rain for 3 minutes, the skys cleared and we were left with a spectacular evening for these two. Meredith spent such attention to detail in every aspect of the day that every guest left happy and full!
We love all of our weddings at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk, one of our favorite event locations. Wedding photographs always turn out fabulously there. This wedding had an extra kick with visits from Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. Not only did they dress up and sing but the entire guest list got up and sung to the bride and groom as well. I had never seen anything like it! What a blast, and the bride(who had no idea this was going to happen) was just beside herself with joy. What a beautiful family for making the day so special. This wedding was so unique and different that we will be submitting it to the Knot Magazine.
From the very beginning Jen knew she wanted to do a trash the dress session the morning after the wedding. She did not know that talking about it with people at the wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn made them all want to come and check them out the morning after. Needless to say, although at first a little embarrasing have the entire wedding wake up early to check out this "trash the dress" it actually became great fun and a huge end to a beautiful event!
What a fun wedding-this was a dancing crew! We love the Hilton Garden Inn and a dancing crew because the place really rocks right over the water. Guests huge out on the pier while the girls went crazy late into the night inside. the cutest part of this couple is Jen was so little that everybody was throwing her around!
Yes, they really jumped into the pool. This is what you do when your wedding gets rained out, have fun with it! Katie and Jim's wedding day ended up a huge and memorable success-ending with a smores pit - what a great idea!
My friends know me as a lover of life. I am an athletic socialite who is a world traveler documenting all through photography. (watch out, you might get your photo taken when you least expect) A lady whom believes atmosphere and location are the key to life. A woman that gave up the Colorado mountains for beach life because she fell in love with a surfer.
You might know me from Julie Dreelins' Beach Productions or Beach Style Blog-the place to visit for all things styly. There is also my controversial experiment into inspiration of the salty bastards around me in The Salty Lady Blog or A Surfers Journal Blog-a photographic visit to New Zealand and Indonesia - all of which have formed my life since the year 2000. I've told my story through photography comments, the growing of a woman into herself experiencing life through non-conformity, making her own road and dreams happen.
If you can grasp an activist/athlete/entrepreur/
photographer/competitor/
non-conformist lady and life of the party - if you have it in you and have or have not expressed it, this blog just might intrest your inner soul. These words are for you my friends.
